If you do facades, paving, joinery or installations — your website has one main job: to show what you have done.
Everything else comes second.
The gallery is the website
Not one “Gallery” page with twenty mixed photos. One per project.
For each one: a few photos, where it is, what was done, roughly how long it took. If you have before-and-after shots — that is the most convincing thing there is in this trade.
Real photos, not ones from the internet. People can tell the difference, and a stock photo of a perfect kitchen casts doubt on everything else.
The phone is everything
A client looking for a tradesman doesn’t write an email. They call.
The number must be at the top of every page, large and clickable — on a phone, a tap means a call. If you use Viber or WhatsApp, add them too — many people send a message first.
Where you work
“Štip and the surrounding area” or “all of North Macedonia” — but say it. Someone from Strumica won’t call you if they don’t know whether you come out that far.
This also matters for search: “facade contractor Štip” is what people type into Google, not “facade services”.
Prices — at least a rough guide
An exact price depends on the building, of course. But “from 800 denars (about €13) per square metre” gives people a guide and cuts out the calls from those expecting a third of that.
Without any figure at all, half of your calls are a waste of time.
Warranty and deadlines
If you give a warranty — say how long and on what. That is the difference between you and someone working off the books.
If you keep to deadlines — say so. In this trade that is rare enough to be an advantage.
A Google profile — more important than the website
For local trades, Google Maps brings more calls than the website. A profile with photos, opening hours and reviews shows up when someone searches for “plumber near me”.
The website and the profile complement each other — but if you only have time for one, start with the profile.
The detail many people miss
Take photos while you work, not only at the end. A photo from the middle of the job shows the work is yours — a finished facade could be anyone’s.
