A client wants business cards. They do not know what offset is, or how heavy the paper is. They know whether they like something when they see it. That is why the portfolio is not decoration — it is the whole offer.
What is worth showing
- Photos of finished work — cards, banners, stickers, boxes
- By category — so they find what they need
- Sizes and materials — with a photo, not a table
- Quote request — a form with a file upload field
File upload is key
The client has a design and wants a quote. If they have to send it over Viber or WeTransfer, that is one more step — and one more reason to put it off. A form that takes a PDF directly means you send the quote the same day.
Storage for the images
A portfolio of a hundred jobs means a hundred high-resolution images. That needs space and a fast server — otherwise the gallery loads slowly and the client leaves.
